Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Five is now available!
July 15th still counts as early July, right? I mean, it’s definitely not late July…though I guess it’s really mid-July or just not early July. Regardless, I apologize; I was hoping to wrap things up a little sooner, but I ended up needing an extra week (it didn’t help that I accidentally fucked up the manuscript’s formatting two days ago either). But with all that nonsense out of the way, allow me to sing out…
Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Five has been released!!
I feel a little bad that it’s been eight months since Volume Four, but I suppose that was the cost of me adding The Theatre of the Siege Princess into the production cycle. Still, I’m really happy with how Volume Five turned out, and creating it allowed me to meet some fun characters (I think Aina was my favorite). I hope you’ll have fun with them as well, and at the risk of spoiling things, I’d like to say I’m very much looking forward to working on the next entry in this silly series of mine.
It goes without saying at this point, but I’ll roar with appreciation for illustrative god Tostantan. I’m often afraid that my basic concepts for characters’ appearances are too weird to look good—I was terrified that Mimi was going to look like a ketchup and mustard mess, for example—yet Tos never fails to flip my fears into elation with his wonderful designs. He’s been an amazing companion on this journey, and it’s my sincerest wish to be able to work with him to this series’ end. Please consider commissioning him; I promise you will not be disappointed.
If you’d like more information on what to expect in Volume Five, you can find it here. General information on Demon Healer Naberius and its prior volumes can be found in my site’s archive here.
Thank you for taking the time to check out Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Five. While I mentioned it took me a little longer than I wanted to finish this novel, it’s also larger than any prior volume, so I hope you find it enjoyable. I’m planning to take a week or so off from writing—mostly just to finish Sunbreak—but after that, I’m gonna hit the keyboard hard. Volume Six is going to bring out a certain character I’ve wanted to share since before Volume One was even a thing, and you can bet I’m gonna bring my usual fire to their story. Stay safe, stay happy, and I’ll see you next time, dear reader.
And don’t forget: Kamura whetstones are the best!
