Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Six is now available!
You know, it’s good that I announced Volume Six was coming and locked myself into a release window. Those who read the announcement article might recall that I mentioned we were getting another puppy (the reason being that my first dog passed away and the puppy we got back in March of this year has too much energy for our other elder dog to handle alone), and we had an agreement with the breeder that we’d pick up the new pup shortly after New Year’s. Well, the breeder decided to ignore that agreement and is instead having the pup shipped to us on the 14th—a full three weeks earlier than expected.
Shoutouts to my boss for letting me reschedule my week off on such short notice. And during the holiday season, no less.
But that’s not why we’re here today, is it? Please share in my excitement as I declare…
Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Six has been released!!
I say this every time, but I’m pretty chuffed with how this volume turned out. Nabby’s mom is a character I’ve been dying to introduce, and I’m excited to share her small but important part in this series. This volume also features several returning characters, and it was really fun to revisit them, give some updates on what they’ve been up to, and see how they bounce off the new scenarios they appear in. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about them as well—maybe I’ll be lucky and have brought back a favorite of yours.
My everlasting gratitude goes out to Tostantan. I don’t know if there’s much more I can say about how much I appreciate all his help, but it’s my personal philosophy that it’s always better to say “thank you” too much than not enough. All in all, he’s a great guy, and I hope he won’t mind the extra-large job I’ll have for him next time.
For anyone who’d like a preview of Volume Six, you can find it here. General information on Demon Healer Naberius and its prior volumes can be found in my site’s archive here.
As always, thank you for your time and interest in my books. Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Six marks the midpoint for this series, and I’m excited to follow this trajectory to its end. I’m hoping to get three novels out again next year (two more DHNs and one other project I’m not fully decided on yet), but as you can expect, I’m gonna need a little break to get the new puppy acquainted in our home first. But once my world is all settled again, you can rest assured that my keyboard will become like a machine gun as I carry Nabby and Bosa’s tale onward. Until then, let’s all take it easy, dear reader.
Don’t get caught in the rain. Or do, if you’re into that.
