Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Nine is now available!
Apologies for the small delay. I had every intention of making this announcement last week, as I wanted to publish Volume Nine before I signed back up with my old day job, but as we all know, no plan survives contact with the enemy known as reality. Fortunately, my employer has me restarting my career at a fairly relaxed position, so I wasn’t stressed into further delays.
Funny how the human condition can be so obnoxious yet is invaluable to our very nature as intelligent creatures, and a shame that we as a species seem to have decided to move away from solving human problems and instead work to remove the human variable. For what it’s worth, I’ll always fight for the horrible, flawed, and often detestable miracles we call people.
But enough fortune cookie philosophy—let’s get to the news you came here for.
Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Nine has been released!!
We’re now in the final arc of Nabby and Bosa’s journey. I can hardly believe we’ve made it this far, both in terms of where the girls’ story has taken them and my own ability to release a new entry in this series (roughly) every six months for the past four years. Sometimes, I forget that I’m DHN’s author and not just a fan of Nabby and Bosa, which makes it that much more of an honor to pen their story and share it with you all.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without Tostantan. My love for this series truly ignited when I first laid eyes on his designs for Nabby and Bosa—it was as though I were a father seeing his children for the first time, and I’ve been driven to support them with every drop of my being ever since. I very much look forward to collaborating with Tos through to DHN’s conclusion.

I mentioned in Volume Eight’s announcement that I had plans to release a short story collection, and while those stories are still in the pipeline, I dawdled a little too much with Volume Nine, so I intend to get right to work on Volume Ten. I also burned a substantial portion of my savings on my year off, so I’d like to revitalize my coffers a bit before I look into hiring more artists for additional projects.
I think that’s all I’ve got to say for now, dear reader. I’ve been reteaching myself how to do motion inputs on a leverless controller in Granblue Versus because I wanna play Terry in the new Fatal Fury coming out (due in no small part to how Granblue’s Anila is the wolf in sheep’s clothing), so my hands are a little sore from learning how to move again. It’s a good pain, though; mastering new skills is always satisfying.
After all, nothing worth having comes easy.
