Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Eight is now available!
If there’s anything I can sympathize with, it’s how industry artists despise Photoshop, because I have the same feelings towards Microsoft Word. For whatever reason, when building the manuscripts for Volume Eight, my page breaks stopped functioning properly, and after hours of attempting—and failing—to fix it, I had no choice but to rebuild the foundation manuscript from scratch and work from there.
It fucking sucked. And it didn’t help that this was the night before Christmas.
But the creature that I am has been stirring, so all through the house, it is my utmost honor to proudly announce…
Demon Healer Naberius: Volume Eight has been released!!
I’ve mentioned it before, but this volume marks the end of the series’ second arc, which was focused on the concept of progress. We’re now on the final leg of our journey, and as a tiny spoiler, I’ll mention that the third arc’s keyword is discovery. Please look forward to it, as well as the return of some characters we haven’t seen since Volume One.
Naturally, we never would have gotten this far without the ongoing illustrative wonderwork from Tostantan. I truly love the covers he produced for Volume Eight; the front is a delightful group shot of our heroes, and the rear cover gave me a hearty belly laugh. Nothing made me happier than hearing he had fun making the covers as well, and I’m excited to see more of his expressiveness in the next volume.

As always, thank you very much for your interest in Demon Healer Naberius. It’s hard to believe the end of this story is in sight—I have no idea what I’ll do once it’s over, but I promise that I’ll keep my momentum until the very end. I’ll do my best to make it a finale worth reading, and I hope you’ll continue to follow Nabby and Bosa’s tale, dear reader.
I’d also like to mention that I’ve got plans to make a trio of short stories, ideally paired with some friends’ illustrations. I intend to share them on this website as they’re finished before compiling them together into a $0.99 collection that I’ll put on Amazon (mostly so I can get paperbacks made). That said, I’m supposed to rejoin the workforce in a couple months, so I’ll apologize now if that affects the releases.
And that’s a wrap. I’m gonna go play some Grand Bruise, catch my breath, and enjoy the rest of the holidays. I hope you have a wonderful New Year as well.
Flock to the Future!
